Let Others Be Your Motivation

Today I encountered an experience where my words didn't match my meaning. I was mid workout this morning and I wanted to try and motivate some teammates by calling them out and telling them to work harder. Well girls do not take that kind of comment so well. I guess the way i said it sounded rude because i got shot back with a smart comment that I should just worry about myself. What is the point of having a team when you can't even encourage each other.
I understand criticism isn't always easy to take but if someone saw me just going through the motions in practice i would want them to call me out for it so i would realize people were noticing i was slacking. I try to have that "I always feel like, somebodies watching me" motivation while working out. I hope in thefututre i can find better ways to voice my motivation like "You got it!" or maybe just a simple "good job". I guess I will be a great coach in the future though because i cannot stand to see someone not working as hard as they can.

Anyways I hope everyone can find that motivation within themselves to give it their all and if you can't I hope you are ready to be called out. Welcome to the world of competitors.
