IDK about you,but I'm feelin' 22

Now blogging at you from 22 years of wisdom, experience and fun... Here I am. Yesterday was my 22nd birthday and it was a good one. I had a great weekend full of family fun and football. Although the football didn't go so well with Texas trumphing over my Sooners 36-20 on Saturday. The game was still fun never-the-less and I got to spend some quality time with my dad. Anyways, I felt inspired today to write 22 things I want to focus on happening this 22nd year of my life.

1. GRADUATE COLLEGE! (even though I'm taking intercession, a full load in the spring and one last summer class. I will still graduate in May)
2. Traveling for myself (Next summer I promise to take an impromptu trip just for my own sense of adventure)
3. Budget (Now with me graduating I want to start learning how to live on a budget more wisely and sticking to it.)
4. Save up (Along with budgeting, it's time to start putting aside money that a few years down the road I might use for something exciting, like a house!)
5. Explore new things!
6. Feel comfortable in my own skin and be proud of my qualities.
7. Remaining loyal to my personal beliefs and values (Not compromising for every hunk of manly meat I see)
8. Get a new hobby, like cooking or something useful!
9. Stay single or find true love (Don't settle for the in-betweeners)
10. Acquire a taste for wine, or something sophisticated.
11. Learn to play guitar.
12. Buy a new laptop or tablet... (lord knows i need one)
13. Run a half marathon... Then a full marathon!
14. Do more charity work and volunteer everywhere I can. (Do something good for the soul by helping others)
15. Wear less black and white. (Sometimes I get told my closet is too black and white, time to branch out and be brighter)
16. Apply for grad school OR....
17. Find a coaching job OR....
18. Find a pr job for some sort of sports networking team
19. Go out more (I'll never be the night-life type but I hope I will finally go to a night club this year)
20. See my family as often as possible.
21. Organize my emotional life (It's never good to be on edge, I plan to stay on topic and focused on my goals)
22. Meet someone new (anyone, someone who might open up my eyes to a new world... just like Aladdin... hehe but even though i'm 22 I'll always want to be a disney princess.) (who wouldn't?!?!)

I hope everyone can be inspired by this post to find things they might need to focus on this year in their life. Have fun with the goals and be satisfied when you reach them. Never stop setting goals in life, or you will find yourself in a rut.  Whether you're 22 or 92... You still have a life, so you might as well live it!
