My Own Optimistic View Of The Shutdown

I'm really frustrated with everyone who keeps bashing the Government. Yes, i agree, we have dug ourselves into debt, war and many Americans are becoming more skeptic about the U.S. government.

However, I feel as though these people are taking advantage of the fact that we live in a country where we can safely express our religion, a country where we do not have to be afraid our children will be enslaved, a country where we can feel safe and express when we do not agree with law proposed without being stuck in a gas chamber and murdered by our very own leaders. People say things aren't the same as they were when they were growing up... Well I hate to tell you this but things are returning to the same way. You're just not okay with it. In the future i see America as it used to be. You had to work hard for what you had, even if that wasn't very much at all. We have to stop the generation that wants everything handed to them. They think they deserve government stipens because they cannot throw away a lazy lifestyle and work a job. I'm truly sorry for the rant but I have to say, I'm still proud to be an American. I'm happy i live in a country full of soldiers who fight to keep me safe and I'm still 100% God is in full control of my life. Regardless how messy this may be God is still in control. So anyone who is terribly upset by the government shut down please look a little harder and see that life isn't always a tragedy.

I love the saying "Control what you can, and let go of the rest." My mom always says the person you are isn't reflected by the personality and attitude you display but more by the way you handle situations when they upset you.
