And no… I'm not talking about christmas. I am talking about the cold/flu season. It is hitting hard and in full affect. Yesterday I woke up feeling less than my best. Today, I feel worse. I wanted to share some quick ways to avoid getting sick this season.
1. WASH YOUR HANDS!
2. Get a humidifier for your air!
3. Skip the second drink, alcohol can lower your ability to fight off germs.
4. Don't rely solely on vitamin C.
5. Get 7 hours or more of sleep a night.
6. Fruits and veggies are important! (the brighter the hue of fruit or veggie the more antioxidants it has!)
7. If you are already sick, stay home!
I know we all want to avoid getting sick but let's face it, we cannot lock ourselves in our basements during flu season. I hope these tips help you to avoid gutting that bug that always comes around this time of year.
