Well hello 2014. I hope all my readers had a safe and fun New Year's Eve. I know I had a great night and even got a NYE midnight kiss from a cute guy. Today's post is going to be about resolutions. I know, cliche, right? But really. I think the new year is a great opportunity for us to re-evaluate how our life has went in the past year and decide if we are doing things right.
My biggest 6 goals of the next year are kind of huge because I will be graduating college this spring. Anyways I am going to post my goals on here in order to keep myself accountable and remind myself what it was I was planning on for 2014.
1. Get a new job. Waitressing is good money but this summer it will be time for a day-time job. I am going to apply starting in May and find jobs that will suit my personality.
2. Get into grad school. I have applied at a couple colleges I know I can coach at and my goal is to gain acceptance to both of those so I can have my pick.
3. Go on a trip, just for me. I have been saving up and I really want to take a cruise to Mexico. I hope I can do this at the end of the summer for about a week. Just reward myself for four hard years of college and track and relax a little bit.
4. Make new friends. Nothing wrong with the ones I have now or anything, in fact they are great I would just like to make some new friends in the coming year!
5. Stay happy. Over the past 2 years I have really managed to rely on myself for happiness and it has worked 100% of the time. I hope to continue my independence and if someone special comes a long who is worthy of sharing my life with then I may just do that.
6. Jump 1.80 meters. It's like the dreadful plateau for a high jumper. I know as soon as I get over that 6 foot hump I will be on my way.
