When the world leaves you wondering... "What just happened"

As you grow and change you will start to realize life passes a lot quicker than you expected. It really is like one minute you are sitting there making all these plans for the future and the next second you are in a completely different situation than you planned for. That is one of the mysteries about the world though, you cannot expect anything in particular except the fact that things will change.

Recently, I've been playing mind games on myself telling myself things will get back to where I planned they would be. Out of nowhere I had a reality check. A big thing, one of the only things I was 100% sure about in my life changed. Completely changed. It hit me, I need to focus on myself. If I have goals that I want to accomplish then I need to start making moves toward those goals. Sometimes when good things are happening to us we seem to get caught in those good things and ignore the good things we could be doing for ourselves. It's confusing, I know. There is a need for balance between random opportunities arising and working hard to achieve certain things, God is always going to throw things your way, in my opinion we must take in the things we believe will enhance our lives and pass up those that will not. I am a firm believer God has a plan for us. Although we might not always understand it, he still knows exactly what he is doing.

Our lives are measured in many different ways. Living a meaningful life is different for every individual. Some just want to be happy, some want a family, some want fame and fortune. I, however, want it all. I know I can achieve it all but it won't happen all at once. Patience is a virtue that makes life a lot more enjoyable. Believe in the good that can happen and watch it unfold before you.

No matter the stage you are at in your life, be okay with change and accept it with an open mind.
