Bad News = Changes

First off, TGIF. So thankful I made it out of this week alive. It's been a rough week to say the least. Monday I sat through a three hour doctors appointment where I was informed that I no longer have athletic induced asthma but now I have full blown, hard core, for real asthma. I also was tested for 55 different allergens, sat through a cat scan and did a breathing treatment. Needless to say it wasn't exactly pleasant. Luckily my handsome boyfriend came a long with me and kept me smiling throughout my appointment.

My results were not healthy and they show that I need to get rid of one of my favorite things ever and one of my best buddies, Zoe. My little kitty has been there for me for the past three years. I love her to pieces and she's more than just a pet cat to me. Anyone who has had a pet knows how special that bond can be. My number one tested allergen was cat dander. Basically my doctor said get rid of the cats and get my house completely clean. I've found some alternate options like getting a HEPA filter for the house in my room and the living room. Problem is, these filters cost about 200 dollars a piece. It is so frustrating because there is really nothing I can do anymore. My allergies make me miserable,

Any who, this post is for anyone who might have any information about helping with bad allergies. I have prescriptions, new inhalers and a sinus rinse but for now I don't want to get rid of Zoe and I need more relief, What is everyone's best everyday allergy pill. I usually take Allegra but it just hasn't been doing it lately. My symptoms are itchy, watery eyes, sore throats, congestion and cough, runny nose. (In other words all of them, haha)

Someone, anyone please I'll take any suggestions you may have for keeping allergens out of the home and relieving symptoms.

Thanks loves, have a wonderful weekend!
