Fancy Fridays

My mantra for the day is to love the glitz, but take it in spoonfuls. It seems that we far too many times bog rooms down with multiple fancy pieces of furniture or lots of sparkly items. Today I encourage you to take this fanciness in small portions. As follows are some great ways to improve the elegance of your home by updating little things instead of a whole roomful of new things.

The key to adding shine to your home is finding truly unique and antique pieces! First off, anything and everything crystal. Whether you just find some old crystal salt and pepper shakers at an estate sale or you find the most splurge-worthy chandelier at your favorite antique store these items are sure to make any place feel nicer.
