I wanted to upload this a few days ago but I got carried away with work and lots of track meets for my team! Anyway. Here is a super easy step-by-step tutorial to making your own succulent garden.
What you'll need:
Potting mix (Cactus growth is best)
Rocks, pebbles or gravel
Succulents
A container (I bougth a fish bowl from Walmart)
Total Cost: 23 dollars
Total Time: 15 minutes
Step 1: Gather supplies!
Step 2:
Pour a layer of rocks first into bottom of container, then a layer of potting mix on top of the rocks. Pack down the mix.
Step 3:
Take your succulents out of their individual containers and plant them into the layer of soil!
Fun tip:
succulents come in all shapes and sizes, they will either say succulent or cactus on their tag. You can find them at Walmart, Lowes or a Home Depot.
Step 4:
Pour rocks around your succulents, you can also add some more potting mix to your succulents to help pack them in.
Step 5: Add water to your plants, only water when plant soil is losing mixture. Let garden stay somewhere in the light, the succulents need LOTS OF SUN!
And WAH LAH enjoy your garden! :)
